Play. Learn. Code. Have Fun.
At Rheecode Robotics we believe using play to establish the early steps of coding and engineering is a brilliant way to prepare our young people for a future in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
James Rhee, STEM coach, Robotics Enrichment mentor and Teacher of Design & Technology
Rheecode Robotics is a club founded by James Rhee, a teacher with over 15 years of experience in secondary school STEM education and robotics enrichment.
James’s mentorship in robotics has been recognised by many organisations such as the Helsington Foundation and Elite Engineering Program Teachers award, First Lego League Regional Coach award, and First Tech Challenge Champion Organisation leader.
Students will learn to build, and code using tools such as Spike Prime, to take on many different engineering challenges throughout the program whilst building resilience and leadership skills through robotics. The club will give your child the confidence and skills to compete at Regional, National and Global robotics tournaments.
We enrol our students by age group into one of two exciting and prestigious robotics programs.
Our sessions actively support the Computing and Design and Technology Curriculum for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, Cubs and Scouts, Digital Maker Staged Activity Badge. Participation in VEX V5 is also CREST Award eligible.

“ It is always a pleasure to work with Mr Rhee with his STEM and robotics clubs. He achieves great results and leaves year on year legacies of competition wins, inspired pupils and delighted judges. ”

“ Thanks to Mr Rhee, my kids love robotics, and now my older daughter is a robo-maniac. These robotics sessions with him are not just teaching them new skills like designing, building, and coding robots, but how to work with other kids effectively as a team. After all, the most important part is that they have fun! ”
